PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KELAS IBU HAMIL TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN IBU HAMIL DI PUSKESMAS TEMBILAHAN HULU TAHUN 2024

Abstract

Around 80% of maternal deaths can be prevented through various effective activities. One effort to prevent deaths related to pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum is through classes for pregnant women. Pregnancy classes are a program implemented by the government to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates. However, the response to the pregnant women's class program is still not optimal due to the lack of participation of pregnant women as participants. Through classes, pregnant women can increase pregnant women's knowledge of early detection and complications, one of which is. Apart from that, by understanding the knowledge provided by the pregnant women's class, pregnant women and their families will change their attitudes and behavior for the better in facing the process of pregnancy, childbirth, and so on. The population in this study was 60 pregnant women. Sampling used the Total Sampling technique. The type of research carried out was Pre-Experimental research with a one group pretest and posttest design to determine the influence of classroom education for pregnant women on increasing the knowledge of pregnant mothers at the Tembilahan Hulu Community Health Center in 2024. The results of the Paired T Test Analysis can be concluded that there is a relationship between the influence of classroom education pregnant women on increasing knowledge of pregnant women with a p-value of 0.000. The results of this research can be explained that the pretest and posttest data on the influence of classroom education for pregnant women on increasing knowledge of pregnant women is 0.000. Because the probability (Sig.) 0.000

< 0.05 then H0 is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of class education for pregnant women on increasing the knowledge of pregnant women in the working area of the Tembilahan Hulu Community Health Center.Keywords: Classroom Education for Pregnant Women, Increased Knowledge
