Pengaruh Pengetahuan dan Sikap Remaja Putri Terhadap Perilaku Kebersihan Reproduksi Pada Saat Menstruasi di SDN 194/1 Sei. Abang Kabupaten Batang Hari

Abstract

Lack of knowledge and information related to personal hygiene during menstruation is oneof the factors that cause poor behavior in personal hygiene during menstruation among adolescents. Young women who are less knowledgeable about personal hygiene allow them not to behave cleanly during menstruation that can endanger their health.This study used a pretest – posttest with a population of 215 respondents with a sample using simple sampling of 36 respondents and data analysis using a t-dependent test. The results of the study showed that most of the respondents had insufficient knowledge as many as 21 respondents (58.3%) and 16 respondents (44.4%) had a negative attitude before counseling. Most of the respondents had good knowledge as many as 26 respondents (72.8%) and a positive attitude as many as 29 respondents (81.0%) after counseling. There was an effect of counseling on knowledge (p-value 0.001) and attitude (p-value 0.000).The conclusion obtained in this study is that there is a significant influence of counseling, the influence of knowledge and attitudes of adolescent girls on reproductive hygiene behavior during menstruation at SD N 194/1 Sei. Abang of Batanghari Regency.
