PEMBUATAN EKSTRAKSI PADA DAUN JAMBU BIJI (PSIDIUM GUAJAVA L)

Abstract

Guava is a tropical plant and can grow in sub-tropical areas with rainfall intensity ranging from 1000-2000 mm/year and can grow and develop and bear fruit optimally at a temperature of (23-28)ºC. Guava is a multi-branched shrub plant, can reach 3-10 m in height. Generally, the age of guava plants is up to about 30-40 years. The tools used in the research process are: one unit of Rotary Evaporator, Analytical Scale, Test Animal Scale, Whatman Filter Paper no.42, Parchment Paper, Petri Cup, Test Tube, Beker Glass, Stirring Rod, Measuring Cup, Erlenmeyer, Tweezers, Spiritus Lamp, Iron Rod, Shovel, Glass Funnel, Droppipe, Tweezers, Horn Spoon, Iron Spoon, Aluminum Foil.  It is known that the overall initial wet simplicia weight was 2000 grams, then the total weight of dried guava leaves (Psidium guava L) was obtained as much as 200 grams and the thick extract of guava leaves (Psidium guava L) was obtained 170 grams, then the percentage yield was calculated
