Abstract

The current Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is still far from the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) target of the 2030 Agenda For Sustainable Development, namely 70 per 100,000 live births in 2030. The general aim of this research is to determine the factors that influence delivery by caesarean section on women giving birth at the Arriqah Main Clinic in 2024. The type of research used is descriptive research and the data used in this research is secondary data from medical records of patients who delivered by caesarean section at the Arriqah Main Clinic in 2024. Collection techniques sample, namely total sampling. The total sample was 71 people. The data collection technique in this research collects secondary data, namely patient medical records. The data analysis technique uses the Chi Square Test (?2). The results of the study showed that factors associated with caesarean section delivery were age (PR=2.383, p-value=0.000), parity (PR=1.557, p-value=0.020), previous history of CS (PR=2.383, p-value= 0.000), long term labor (PR=2.531, p-value=0.000), preeclmasia/eclampsia (PR=1.733, p-value=0.030), post date pregnancy (PR=2.242, p-value=0.001), PROM (PR =1.852, p- value=0.010), Fetal Emergency (PR=2.382, p-value=0.000), Malpresetasi/Malposition (PR=1.733, p- value =0.030), CPD (PR= 1.733, p-value =0.030 ). Medical indication factors related to caesarean section are a history of previous CS, prolonged labor, preeclampsia/eclampsia, post-date pregnancy, PROM, fetal distress, malpresentation/malposition, and CPD. And the predisposing factors related to caesarean section are the mother's age and parity.
