PENGARUH EDUKASI MEDIA BOOKLET TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP IBU TERKAIT IMUNISASI DASAR LENGKAP DI PUSKESMAS KUALA ENOK
Abstract
Immunization coverage is closely related to the family's knowledge and attitudes regarding their interest in immunizing their babies so that they can be vaccinated. Because the better the parents' knowledge about immunization, the higher the level of immunization coverage. A preliminary study at the Kuala Enok Health Center UPT through interviews with researchers with immunization officers found that the factors causing the low level of complete basic immunization (UCI) were knowledge, attitudes, behavior, myths and family support. This research is a pre-experimental study with a one group pre test-post test design. The population in this study was all mothers with babies < 1 year old who were recorded in February 2024 in the Kuala Enok Health Center UPT Working Area, totaling 38 people. The sampling technique used in the research was the Total Sampling technique. Data was collected using a questionnaire and data processing using the SPSS program. Data analysis in this study was univariate and bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon Test statistical test formula. The results of the non-parametric Wilcoxon statistical test analysis obtained a significance value of = 0.000 for the knowledge and attitude variables, p < 0.05, which means that there is an influence of booklet media education on mothers' knowledge and attitudes regarding complete basic immunization in the work area of the Kuala Enok Community Health Center UPT. It is hoped that the results of this research will serve as input that can increase public knowledge, especially mothers, about the importance of basic immunization for children to prevent various types of infectious diseases and that they should immunize their children completely and on time, considering that immunization is very important to equip their children with health in the future.
