Review: Potensi Daun Pucuk Merah (Syzygium myrtifolium Walp.) Sebagai Tanaman Obat

Abstract

Indonesia has many varieties of medicinal plants, both those have been used for generation and those that have great potential as medicinal plants. Kelat oil (Syzygium myrtifolium Walp.) which is geneally used as an ornamental plant. Apparently has various pharmacological activities, including antimicrobial, antifungal, antidiabetic, antihypertensive, and rehebilitative efforts for burn wound. Of course, further research is needed to ensure the safety and effectiveness of clinically tested pharmacology to support its used as a herbal medicine.
